Description :
GDS-2 is highly concentrated, fast acting descaler for removal of rusts, scales, corrosion, slime, magnesium deposits, hard water deposits etc. in cooling towers and boilers.
Applications :
GDS-2 is used for descaling all process air conditioning, heating systems including
boilers, cooling towers, condensers, heat exchangers etc.
Advantages :
- Fast action. GDS-2descales most systems completely in 4 to 7 hours.
- Safe to use. GDS-2 does not damage paint, coating, rubber or wood. GDS-2 has an inhibited formulation to ensure effective descaling with minimal chemical reaction damage. Upon descaling, GDS-2contains anti-corrosion agents to protect the treated surfaces.
- Easy to use. GDS-2 s liquid formulation requires no messy and timeconsuming premixing. GDS-2 dissolves scales and rusts quickly, reducing downtime and does not require scrapping or agitation.
- Cost effective way to restore system maximum efficiency. GDS-2 can be diluted up to 40 parts of water depending on scale build-ups.
Instructions :
- Shut system and use pressure water to hose out mud, silt and slime.
- Refill system with just sufficient water for circulation.
- Dose GDS-2 at 1:40 parts of water in the circulating in the system as in step 2.
- Add GDS-2 slowly, a few litres at a time to avoid excessive foaming. (Note : foaming indicates that the GDS-2 is reacting effectively to descale the system).
- Drain, flush the tower at least twice. Check pH of water to ensure normal operational condition.
- Refill with water, add the correct amount of the proper GC-28 treatment and return tower to service
Note :
- Any method of descaling will dissolve scales that may be plugging leakages which were present before descaling. Therefore, no liability can be assumed for using this product for descaling.
- Do not use on galvanized metals, aluminium or cadmium-plated parts.
